Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken with Garlic Butter Noodles

 



Ingredients:


For the Crispy Chicken:

500g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces


 Salt & pepper


 2 eggs, beaten


 ½ cup cornstarch


 ½ cup all-purpose flour


 Oil for frying


 Chopped chives or green onion (for garnish)


Honey Garlic Sauce:


 ⅓ cup honey


 3 garlic cloves, minced


 3 tbsp soy sauce


 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar


 Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes


1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)


Garlic Butter Noodles:


 300g spaghetti or noodles of choice


 2 tbsp butter


 2 garlic cloves, minced


 Salt to taste


 Chopped chives or parsley for garnish


Instructions:


Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and toss with butter,

minced garlic, and salt. Keep warm.


Bread the chicken: Toss pieces in flour + cornstarch mix,

dip in egg, then coat again in dry mix.


Fry in hot oil (about 175°C/350°F) until golden and

crispy, 5–6 minutes. Drain on paper towels.


Make the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine honey,

soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and optional chili flakes. Bring

to simmer, stir in cornstarch slurry, and cook until

thickened.


Toss chicken in sauce until evenly coated.


Serve chicken over garlic butter noodles and garnish with

fresh herbs.
