For the Fried Pork Chops
2 bone-in pork chops
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
½ cup milk
Oil for frying
For the Buttery Grits
1 cup quick grits
4 cups water or milk
2 tbsp butter
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste

Toast or biscuits
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Grits
Bring water or milk to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in grits
and reduce heat. Cook 5–7 minutes, stirring often until
thick and creamy. Add butter, cheese (optional), salt, and
pepper.
2️⃣ Season the Pork Chops
Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a
shallow bowl. In another bowl whisk egg and milk.
3️⃣ Coat the Pork Chops
Dip pork chops into the egg mixture, then coat well in the
seasoned flour.
4️⃣ Fry the Pork Chops
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pork
chops 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and
cooked through.
5️⃣ Serve
Plate the crispy fried pork chops over warm buttery grits.
Add fried eggs or biscuits on the side if desired.
