📝 Ingredients
For the Pad Thai
8 oz rice noodles
½ lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 green onions, sliced
¼ cup roasted peanuts (optional)
For the Sauce
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce (optional but traditional)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp tamarind paste or rice vinegar
½ tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)
Optional Garnish
Fresh cilantro
Lime wedges
Extra crushed peanuts
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Noodles
Prepare rice noodles according to package instructions.
Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Beef
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok or large skillet over high
heat. Add sliced beef and cook 2–3 minutes until
browned. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Stir-Fry the Vegetables
Add remaining oil to the pan. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds,
then add broccoli. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until bright green
and slightly tender.
4️⃣ Add the Eggs
Push ingredients to one side of the pan and pour in the
beaten eggs. Scramble until cooked.
5️⃣ Combine Everything
Add cooked noodles and beef back to the pan. Pour in
the sauce and toss everything together for 2–3 minutes
until well coated.
6️⃣ Serve
Top with green onions, peanuts, cilantro, and a squeeze
of fresh lime.
