Ingredients
For the Main Component:
2 cups whole milk
2 Earl Grey tea bags
1 tsp dried culinary lavender
1 tbsp boiling water
For the Secondary Component:
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp lavender syrup
For the Sauce / Layer / Topping:
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp granulated sugar
1 pinch dried lavender buds
For Garnish (optional):
1 small sprig fresh lavender
1 pinch lemon zest
Directions
Steep the Earl Grey tea bags and culinary lavender in 1
tablespoon of boiling water for 3 minutes to create a
concentrated base.
Pour the milk into a small saucepan and heat over
medium-low until steaming, but not boiling.
Whisk the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lavender
syrup into the warm milk.
Strain the tea and lavender concentrate into a large mug.
Pour the flavored milk over the tea concentrate, leaving
an inch of space at the top.
In a separate chilled bowl, whisk the heavy cream and
sugar until light and frothy.
Top the drink with the cream foam and sprinkle with
dried lavender buds.
Garnish with a fresh lavender sprig and lemon zest
before serving.
