Potato Gatto


Ingredients
Potatoes 1000 g
Mozzarella cheese 100 g
Ham 120 g
Butter 50 g
Parmesan cheese 80 g
Scamorza cheese 100 g
Eggs 2
Salt
Pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
Breadcrumbs 2 tbsp

Boil the potatoes in their skins, cool, peel, and mash. Add the Parmesan, eggs, pepper, and nutmeg. Chop the ham, mozzarella, and scamorza. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Place half the potatoes, add the mozzarella, cheese, and ham, and cover with the remaining potato mixture. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and small pieces of butter. Bake in the oven at 180°C for the first 15 minutes, then at 200°C for the next 15 minutes.
