Flamethrower

Benedetto Supino possessed astonishing and dangerous abilities that first attracted attention in the 1980s, when he was just 10 years old. Benedetto, who lived in Formia, Italy, could set objects on fire simply by looking at them. His ability to ignite fires in this way was usually involuntary, manifesting only upon his arrival. The first such event occurred in 1982 in a dentist's waiting room. Without cause or warning, a comic book Benedetto was reading suddenly burst into flames.

One morning, he was awakened by a fire in his own bed—his pajamas were ablaze, and he suffered severe burns. Another time, a plastic object his uncle was holding caught fire as soon as Benedetto looked at it. Wherever he went, furniture, paper, books, and other objects began to smolder or burst into flames.

Some claimed to have seen flames on his hands at that moment.
