Turkey and Bean Burritos


Ingredients
Turkey (fillet) 400 g
Corn oil 40 ml
Garlic 2 cloves
Red beans in their own juice 400 g
Ground red pepper 1/2 tsp
Cumin 1/2 tsp
Yellow bell pepper 1 pc
Chicken broth 200 ml
Salt 1/2 tsp
Cilantro 30 g
Tomato puree 150 g
Tortillas 6 pcs


Treat the turkey and cut into narrow oblong pieces.


Fry in a hot frying pan, then add the crushed garlic and stir.


Add the drained beans.


Add the spices. Adjust the amount of chili based on your desired spiciness and the quality of the pepper itself. It's best to use a little less and then add more.


Cut the bell pepper into strips and add them to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.


Pour the broth into the pan, season with salt, and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.


Add freshly chopped cilantro.


Finally, add tomato puree or finely chopped, peeled tomatoes. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes and remove from heat.


Wrap the filling in the tortillas, folding them like envelopes. Wrap one end of the burrito in foil to prevent the filling from leaking out, and serve.

Sour cream or guacamole can be served with the burrito.

 
You can use chicken or ground meat instead of turkey in the burrito filling. Just use the right spices and don't be afraid of a spicy kick, and you'll get the perfect burrito.
