Ingredients
Chicken (breast) 1 pc
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper
Honey 1/2 tbsp
Crushed red pepper 1 pinch
Lettuce
Tomato
Bread
Heat a frying pan and fry the chicken breast in olive oil over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. After each side is browned (about 7 minutes per side), spoon a little honey over the breast, flip, increase the heat, and brush the remaining honey on the other side.
Once the breast is caramelized, continue to flip it occasionally to ensure it absorbs as much of the syrup as possible. If the sauce begins to thicken too much, add a little water.
Remove the chicken from the heat when it has reached the color of the syrup – a golden-dark brown. Make a sandwich with cooked chicken breast, lettuce, and sliced tomato.
