Ingredients
16 slices French bread
200 g mushrooms
3 tbsp shallots
2 tbsp parsley (root)
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
1 tbsp vegetable oil
300 g cheese
Salt
Ground black pepper
Fry the chopped shallots and parsley in vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes. Melt the butter and sprinkle with flour. Heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour in the milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add finely chopped mushrooms, onion, and parsley, salt, and pepper, and simmer over low heat for 5-6 minutes.
Place the bread slices on a baking sheet. Spread the mushroom sauce on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 5 minutes.
