Ingredients
2 slices bacon
450 g shrimp
1 tbsp smoked paprika
0.5 tbsp oregano
0.5 tbsp thyme
1/2 white onion
3 cloves garlic
2 tbsp tomato paste
410 g tomato in its own juice
1 tbsp Tabasco sauce
Toss the shrimp with the paprika and dried herbs. Set aside.
Place the bacon in a frying pan and fry over medium heat until crisp. Separate the fat. Remove the bacon from the pan, but leave the fat in.

Add the shrimp, fry for 2 minutes on one side, flip, and fry for another 30 seconds. Remove, cover, and set aside.

Add the thinly sliced onion to the same pan and fry for 4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and fry for 30 seconds. Add the tomato paste, without stirring, fry for 30 seconds, then stir.

Add the diced tomatoes and 1/4 cup water. Season with salt and pepper, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat. Add the hot sauce to the sauce in the pan and stir. The sauce is ready.
