Ingredients
Baguette 1/2
Tomato 1 tsp
Cheese 150 g
Garlic 1 clove
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Ground red pepper 1/4 tsp
Salt
In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, oregano, red pepper, and a pinch of salt.
Slice the baguette in half lengthwise. Brush with herbed olive oil. Toast both sides in a dry frying pan. Cool the bread slightly, then rub with a clove of garlic. Top with thin slices of tomato. Season with salt and pepper, and top with cheese.
Return the sandwiches to the pan, cover with a lid. Cook until the cheese has melted.
