Ingredients:
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
1 egg (for egg wash)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar (for dusting)
Preparation Method:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking
sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar,
vanilla extract, and cocoa powder until smooth. Stir in the
mini chocolate chips.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4-inch
squares.
Place a spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the
center of each square and gently roll them up, sealing the
edges.
Brush the rolls with the beaten egg, then sprinkle with a
bit of granulated sugar.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Brush
with melted butter when done.
