Spooklights
This phenomenon appears to be related to ball lightning... not necessarily. Many have heard of a phenomenon called "spooklights," which have been reported around the world. And there are many. Perhaps the most famous are the so-called Marfa Lights, which have been seen for many years near Marfa, Texas, USA. The lights most often appear at night and can be seen along Highway 90. However, when researchers tried to examine the lights, they saw nothing.
Other spooklights include the Tri-State Lightning on the border of the US states of Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri; the Brown Mountain Lights near Morganton, North Carolina; the Gurdon Light in Arkansas; the Silver Cliff Cemetery Lights in Colorado; the Hebron Lights in Maryland; the Hornet Spooklight in southern Missouri; and the Peakland Ghost Lights in the UK.
