Death

A cold wind blew. The already bare trees bowed sadly under its force. The gray-black space slowly filled every nook and cranny. Several people, dressed in raven black that perfectly matched the gray space, were staring at a single point. The silence that reigned between them grew awkward. Sobbing could be heard. Those who had come here had pain in their hearts. Their eyes filled with suffering.
He. A handsome man. He stood there, his blue eyes filled with the deepest sadness, pain, and suffering. The wind ruffled his hair. Bitter tears streamed down his cheeks. Bitterness tore at his heart. Regret twisted his lips. He sobbed. Loudly. A thousand thoughts raced through his mind. So many memories, beautiful moments. All his dreams were shattered. They were gone. They were gone with a part of him.
He moved closer. He looked into the brown coffin and saw her there. Pale. On her left hand, there were visible razor wounds. Fresh, from a few days ago. There was also a scar in the shape of the letter "L." The first letter of his name...
A tear rolled down his cheek and fell onto her lips. He leaned down and kissed her. They were no longer the same lips, full of pleasure and sweetness. They didn't fill with blood, no longer rose-colored. They were cold and hard.
He looked into her open eyes. Their brown color had lost its luster. They had become dull. Expressionless.
Another tear made a path down his cheek, and a moment later, it landed on her face. He extended his hand and closed her eyes. He pulled away, only to see them closing the coffin and burying her in the ground.
She had left him forever, given him freedom. She wanted his happiness. But she didn't think that this death wouldn't bring him happiness. She wanted him to forget her. He had fallen in love with someone he would have by his side every day. So that he could savor the moment with his beloved every day. To stop him from suffering from long-distance love. But she knew no one would love him more than she did.
She couldn't walk away from him. She thought it was the only way out. Even though she was gone, she would always love him…even there….
But he loved her so sincerely and deeply that he would do anything to be with her. That's why he knew one thing – he would join her. Soon…

…because love means living for someone, enjoying their happiness and striving for it. Carrying only that one person in your heart, being there for their every need….

She died because he wanted his happiness.
He died because he wanted to be with her….
