Mysterious baboon killed in Sierra Leone

In Sierra Leone, in the Pujehun district, a surprising incident occurred in which a mysterious baboon-like creature was killed during an operation by police and local youth. The animal had been causing chaos and panic in Kpanga Kabonde, a district of Pujehun. According to police sources, the baboon-like creature primarily terrorized women and children. There were also attacks, most often targeting local youth, and several people had to be taken to hospital.

The news of the animal's death was greeted with great joy by the residents of Pujehun. A similar animal had been killed three months earlier in the Koinadugu district, where it had previously killed several people and several livestock, including cows, in attacks.
