Potatoes 700 g
Cream 10% 400 ml
Cheese 150 g

This dish requires minimal ingredients and preparation. First, heat the cream and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into half-centimeter-thick rings. Use smaller potatoes to create more rings.
Place the potatoes in the boiling cream and simmer for five minutes over low heat. Then turn off the heat. While the potatoes are cooking, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Next, you'll need a small ovenproof dish. Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon and arrange them in a single layer in the dish. Season with salt if needed.
Then sprinkle with cheese and another thin layer of potatoes. The final layer should be potatoes. Save some cheese; you'll need it later.
Once all the potatoes are layered, pour the cream from the pan over everything and place the pan in the oven. Bake covered with foil for 15 minutes, then remove the foil, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes.
