Dijon mustard 1 tsp

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Boil the potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes. While the potatoes are cooking, melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the onions until golden brown. Add the milk and cook until almost boiling.
Drain the potatoes and mash them. Add the milk, onion, ¾ of the cheese, mustard, and a few spices.
Grease the dish with butter and spread the mashed potatoes on top, sprinkle with grated cheese, and a layer of sliced tomatoes. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and cooked through.
