Ingredients
Pasta 300 g
Ground Meat 500 g
Tomato 300 g
Broth 2 cups
Butter 2 tbsp
Flour 2 tbsp
Milk 3/4 cup
Cheddar Cheese 200 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tsp
Taco Seasoning 1 packet
Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the ground meat with the taco seasoning. You want to cook off most of the liquid without overcooking the ground meat.
Blanch the tomatoes, dice them, and add them to the pan. Pour in the beef broth (or water). Season with salt to taste, and when it comes to a boil, add the pasta.
Stir and cook for a few minutes until the pasta is tender. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter and add the flour. Cook over low heat until golden brown. Then add the milk and bring to a simmer. Once the milk boils, add the grated cheese and stir. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
When the sauce is smooth and the cheese is completely melted, add it to the cooked pasta and stir.
