Ingredients
Cauliflower
Flour 2 tbsp
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp
Milk 1000 ml
Sour cream 150 g
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
Cheese
Boil the cauliflower in salted water.
Heat a deep frying pan with vegetable oil, add the flour, and fry for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Then, reduce the heat and gradually add the milk, stirring quickly.
At first, you'll get dry crumbs; add more milk and stir. Repeat this process until a sour cream-like sauce forms. Keep the pan on low heat throughout this process.
Then add the sour cream, season with salt and pepper. Add a pinch of nutmeg and remove from heat. (The entire sauce takes about 10-15 minutes to prepare.)
Place the boiled cabbage, separated into florets, in a ceramic or glass dish, pour the sauce over the top, sprinkle with a thick layer of grated cheese, and bake in a preheated oven until the cheese melts and turns a beautiful golden brown.
