Serbian Moussaka



Ingredients
Minced meat 700 g
Potatoes 10
Onions 3
Carrots 3
Eggs 3
Cheese
Milk
Olive oil
Butter
Salt
Pepper
Parsley

Chop the onion, grate the carrots, and cut the potatoes into thin slices (like sausage). Fry the onion in a frying pan for 4-5 minutes until translucent. Add the carrots and simmer for another 4-5 minutes. Add the minced meat to the pan and simmer until browned. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper.

Grease a baking dish with butter. Place a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the dish. Then add a layer of minced meat. Potatoes-minced meat-potatoes-minced meat (the number of iterations depends on the dimensions of the pan). Place tomatoes on the final layer of minced meat. Then cover everything with potatoes again (it's very important that the final layer be potatoes, otherwise it will turn out completely crap). Bake in the oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown.

Whisk the eggs with milk and salt (as for an omelet) and pour evenly over the dish. Then top with a layer of cheese. Bake in the oven for another 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown. Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
