Titanic. Prophecy, curse, or coincidence?

On April 14, 1912, the Titanic, one of the largest luxury liners of its era, collided with an iceberg and sank during its maiden voyage. On April 14, 1912, the luxury passenger liner Titanic sank after striking an iceberg during its maiden voyage. In 1898, Morgan Robertson wrote the novella "Futility," in which a similar ship met a similar fate. Just a few years before the disaster, journalist W.T. Stead warned of impending tragedy due to the lack of lifeboats. Finally, when the Titanic set sail [and sank within days], many passengers and crew were too frightened to board the boats.
