Newspaper clipping:

There was an accident. It was a peculiar accident, one might say. A dozen or so cars collided on a relatively easy stretch of road around the lake. And that's precisely what's peculiar, because it was a sunny day, visibility was good, very good in fact, the road was smooth, the surface dry, and the cars were swerving into each other as if their drivers had suddenly gone blind. Another strange thing: the cars were completely "wrecked," but no one inside was hurt, which is good. Nothing happened to anyone, at least not at first glance. But—and this is another ambiguity—some of the cars were covered in dried blood. And another interesting fact: none of the people involved in the accident remember anything. They all simply lost their memories. The last thing they remember, before their memories kicked in again, was fog on the lake. However, something must have gotten mixed up for all those involved; there was no fog, as I mentioned at the beginning; the day was sunny, and visibility was excellent.
Later, when doctors examined some of those involved in this madness, it was found that many of them bore the marks of serious wounds. Nevertheless, these people claim they never suffered any such wounds. Interesting!?
A search for witnesses was launched. And they managed to find one, single witness. However, what he said didn't "make sense" and made absolutely no sense. He was probably not completely right. He was a shepherd and at the time of the accident, he was tending to his sheep on a nearby hill. He claimed the following:
Moments before the incident, the lake was covered with a thick layer of clouds or fog, which suddenly dissipated, and a man was walking across the lake. He was simply walking barefoot on the water. And then the cars began to crash into each other with a loud bang. The man walking on the water stepped onto the bank and headed towards the pileup. He walked between the cars for a few minutes, then returned to the lake. Clouds appeared, nothing happened for a moment, and when the clouds dissipated again, just as suddenly as before, the man disappeared with them.
Testimony was heard from the apparently deranged shepherd, the only witness, but no one kept any notes, because why write down this ramblings of a "crazy man"?
This whole strange story will probably never find a logical explanation.
