Grandpa was here

After his father's death, ghosts began to be seen in the house. One night, Damian, Renek's nephew, woke up crying, his hair standing on end. He said, "Grandpa was here." Another time, Mariusz, Damian's brother, was writing a letter when suddenly the dog began whining and backing away. Mariusz then saw his grandfather's ghost out of the corner of his eye.

"I was once with a girl who sometimes stayed with me overnight," Renek says. "One time, we woke up because I heard someone calling my name. I wanted to go outside, but my girlfriend said I must have dreamed it, that no one was calling me. But I know I didn't dream anything. It was an adult's voice."

During our stroll through the neighborhood, Renek and I came across a house that looked as if a bomb had blown it apart. "This house has been abandoned and decaying for a dozen years now. Apparently, it's haunted. The priest had it blessed, but it didn't help. A woman once hanged herself there. A neighbor also lived in this house, who died in the same accident as my father. The owner has been trying to sell the entire property for a long time, but he can't seem to find a buyer."
