Cake



1. Lemon Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 1 1/2 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 1/2 cup sour cream

 • 1/2 cup flour

 • 2 tbsp lemon juice


Instructions:

 1. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F).

 2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

 3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.

 4. Mix in sour cream, flour, and lemon juice.

 5. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50–60

minutes.

 6. Cool slightly.

 7. Glaze: Mix powdered sugar + lemon juice and pour

over cake.


2. Chocolate Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 1 1/4 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 1/2 cup flour

 • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

 • 1/2 cup heavy cream


Instructions:

 1. Cream butter and sugar.

 2. Add eggs one by one.

 3. Mix flour, cocoa powder, and cream.

 4. Pour batter into pan.

 5. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.

 6. Glaze: Melt chocolate with cream and drizzle over

cake.


3. Vanilla Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 2 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 2 cups flour

 • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

 • 1 cup powdered sugar


Instructions:

 1. Cream butter and sugar well.

 2. Add eggs one at a time.

 3. Mix in flour and vanilla extract.

 4. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.

 5. Glaze: Mix powdered sugar with a little milk and

drizzle.


4. Orange Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 1 1/2 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 1/2 cup orange juice

 • 1 tbsp orange zest

 • 1 cup powdered sugar


Instructions:

 1. Cream butter and sugar.

 2. Add eggs gradually.

 3. Mix in orange juice and zest.

 4. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.

 5. Glaze: Mix powdered sugar with orange juice and pour

on top.


5. Coconut Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 1 1/2 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 1/2 cup flour

 • 1/2 cup coconut milk

 • 1 tsp coconut extract


Instructions:

 1. Cream butter and sugar.

 2. Add eggs one by one.

 3. Mix flour, coconut milk, and extract.

 4. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.

 5. Glaze: Mix coconut milk with powdered sugar and

drizzle.


6. Almond Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 tsp almond extract

 • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

 • 1/2 cup powdered sugar


Instructions:

 1. Prepare vanilla batter (butter, sugar, eggs, flour).

 2. Divide batter into two parts.

 3. Mix cocoa powder into one half.

 4. Layer both batters in pan and swirl.

 5. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.

 6. Glaze: Use chocolate or sugar glaze and drizzle.


9. Blueberry Pound Cake


Ingredients:

 • 1 cup butter

 • 1 1/2 cups sugar

 • 4 eggs

 • 1 cup blueberries

 • 1 cup powdered sugar

 • 2 tbsp blueberry juice


Instructions:

 1. Cream butter and sugar.

 2. Add eggs one at a time.

 3. Fold in blueberries gently.

 4. Bake at 170°C for 50–60 minutes.
