Ingredients
Flour 2 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Baking soda 1 tsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Eggs 2
Kefir 2 cups
Butter 2 tbsp
Whisk the eggs, add sugar, salt, and kefir. Mix the flour with baking soda (you can also use 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1 tsp baking powder), add to the egg-kefir mixture, and finally pour in the melted butter. Bake in a hot skillet.
Flip them over once the entire surface is covered in attractive bubbles. If they pop, the second side will look different from the first, but this won't affect the taste of the pancakes.
Pour cherry sauce over them (or, if you have something on hand, even powdered sugar will do) and serve.
