Ingredients
100 g rolled oats
100 g flour
4 g Italian herbs
2 g turmeric
50 g cheese
80 ml light beer
2 g salt
70 g butter
To make oatmeal sticks, you'll need rolled oats (instant oats are best), flour, herb mix and turmeric, salt, light beer, and cheese (any hard cheese).
In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, oats, herb mix, turmeric, and salt.
Add grated cheese and softened butter. Pour the beer over the mixture and mix well. Knead the dough thoroughly.
Roll the dough out onto parchment paper to a 3-4 mm thick rectangle. Cut the dough into 1 cm wide strips.
Spread the strips out at a distance from each other and transfer to a wire rack. Bake the sticks in a preheated oven at 190°C (350°F) for 15 minutes. Cool. Serve with beer.
