Ingredients
Pizza dough 400 g
Arugula 1/4 bunch
Cherry tomatoes 100 g
Smoked bacon 100 g
Parmesan cheese 50 g
Mozzarella cheese 200 g
For the sauce:
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Rosemary 1/2 tsp
Garlic 3 cloves
Tomato 400 g
Olive oil 3 tbsp
Make crosswise cuts in the tomatoes, blanch them in boiling water, and drain after a minute. Peel and chop with a knife. Peel the garlic. Coarsely chop 2 cloves and finely mince 1 clove. Coarsely chop the garlic and sauté in olive oil with the rosemary and oregano for about 1 minute. Add the tomatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the liquid has evaporated.
Grate the Parmesan cheese. Cut the bacon into strips. Halve the cherry tomatoes, sprinkle with oregano, salt, and drizzle with olive oil.
Roll the dough into a pan, add the tomato sauce, and spread evenly. Add the bacon. Distribute the cherry tomato halves and mini mozzarella balls. If you have large pieces of mozzarella, grate it on a coarse grater.
Sprinkle the pizza with Parmesan cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes. Sprinkle the finished pizza with washed arugula leaves and serve immediately.
