Ingredients
for the dough:
2 tsp dry yeast
400 g water
2 tsp sugar
1.5 tsp salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cups flour
For the filling:
250 g smoked sausage
1 green bell pepper
1 red onion
100 g mushrooms
Parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
For the sauce:
600 g canned tomatoes
1 tsp tomato paste
4 cloves garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp basil
Dissolve the yeast in warm water, add sugar, oil, and salt. Sift the flour and gradually whisk it into the liquid, little by little. Knead a soft dough, place it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with a towel, and let it rest for 30 minutes in a warm, dry, draft-free place.
Mix all the sauce ingredients, place in a frying pan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, mashing the tomatoes with a wooden spoon. Then add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste, season with a pinch of salt, simmer for another 2 minutes, and remove from the heat to cool.
Slice the sausage. Chop the pepper, onion, and mushrooms.
Divide the dough into 4 pieces (this will make 4 medium pizzas). Roll out the dough thinly, like you would for dumplings. Place the rolled-out dough on a greased baking sheet. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (about 2 tablespoons), mozzarella cheese, add sliced sausage, peppers, mushrooms, and onions, and sprinkle with more mozzarella cheese.
Place in a preheated oven and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes (depending on your oven).
