Ingredients
Puff pastry 1 package
Cheese 250 g
Milk 1/2 cup
Cream 200 ml
Egg 2
Onion 1
Sugar 1 tsp
Balsamic vinegar 1/8 tsp
Salt
Pepper
Nutmeg
Slice the onion into half rings and fry in olive oil over medium heat until softened. Add a pinch of salt, sugar, and balsamic vinegar, if desired.
Lightly roll out the dough, place it in a parchment-lined pan, and form the edges. Prick the dough with a fork.
Whisk the eggs, milk, and cream, add the grated cheese, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Place the onion on the dough, pour in the filling, and spread it evenly over the entire surface. Bake the tart for 40 minutes at 180°C.
