Ingredients
150g smoked trout
4 slices toast
100g Philadelphia cheese
1/2 bunch green onions
mayonnaise
sesame seeds
For this appetizer, use white or brown bread, depending on your taste. Each slice should be no more than half a centimeter thick, and the crusts should be trimmed off.
Place the bread on a sushi mat or plastic wrap, overlapping the pieces. Cover the bread with plastic wrap and roll it with a rolling pin, pressing down.
Spread the resulting bread layer with cream cheese all over, lay out the sliced fish, sprinkle with herbs, and roll the bread layer tightly using the mat, like you would roll a sushi roll. Wrap the roll in foil and refrigerate for an hour.
This bread, cheese, and trout appetizer is served like this: the roll is cut crosswise into pieces, each topped with mayonnaise and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
