Sausages in Dough



Ingredients
8 sausages
200 ml milk
30 g butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp dry yeast
2.5 cups flour

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm milk and set aside. Melt the butter, mix with the vegetable oil, salt, and egg, then add to the milk and yeast. Add the sifted flour in batches until smooth, form a ball, grease with vegetable oil, transfer to a deep bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

 Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease with butter. Divide the dough into 6-8 pieces, wrap the sausages in the dough, and place them on the baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes while the oven preheats.

Preheat the oven to 180°C, brush the sausages with egg wash, and bake until golden brown.
