Ingredients
for the pancakes:
Dark chocolate 30 g
Flour 1.3 cups
Egg 1
Brown sugar 1/3 cup
Milk 1 cup
Baking soda 2 tsp
Vanillin 1 tsp
Butter
For the syrup:
Pinch of salt
Maple syrup 1 cup
Dark chocolate 100 g
Whisk the pancake ingredients (except the butter) in a blender until smooth. Let sit for a while.
Syrup: Dissolve the salt in 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan over low heat. Add the maple syrup and bring to a boil. Pour this mixture over the chocolate (in a heatproof bowl) and stir until smooth.
Return to the pancakes and heat the pan. Fry the pancakes in butter. Serve with chocolate syrup.
