Blackberries 2.75 cups
Grease a cake pan and dust with flour. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Combine the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt) in a mixer bowl. Whisk the buttermilk, butter, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Gradually pour this mixture into the bowl with the dry mixture.
Slowly pour in the coffee, whisking continuously. Fold the puree and whole berries into the batter. Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake for 45-50 minutes. Cool and remove the cake from the pan.
