Ingredients
for the dough:
200 g 9% cottage cheese
1 egg
85 g butter
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
150 g flour
For the filling:
2 apples
1 pinch of raisins
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp sugar
Vanillin
If the cottage cheese is grainy, strain it through a sieve. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sugar, salt, and butter. Add a lightly beaten egg and mix again. Add the sifted flour and baking powder. Knead into a soft dough. Add more flour if needed. Cover the dough with a bowl.
Peel and dice the apples, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the sugar and apples, and simmer until all the liquid has evaporated and the apples are soft. Finally, add the vanilla (or cinnamon) and raisins, stir, and let the filling cool slightly.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and grease it with butter. Divide the dough into 10 pieces, form into pies, place them on the baking sheet, and brush with egg wash. Bake the pies until golden brown.
