Cod (fillet) 400 g
Wash the cod fillet, cut into 4 pieces, place in a saucepan, cover with 2.5 liters of cold salted water, bring to a boil, and simmer for 30-40 minutes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash, peel, and slice the carrots. Heat the vegetable oil in a small frying pan and fry the onion and carrots for 5 minutes. Then add the vegetables to the fish broth and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes. Add to broth and simmer for 15 minutes. Wash and chop the parsley, then add it to the soup. Add the processed cheese, season with pepper, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Wash, dry, and finely chop the green onions. Place a piece of fish in each bowl, pour in the soup, and sprinkle with green onions. Serve with wheat croutons.
