Ingredients
Water 200 ml
Vanilla 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Lemon zest 1 tbsp
Flour 200 g
Apples 2
Pears 3
Salt 1 tsp
Butter 200 g
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Sugar 100 g
Mix the flour, 1 tbsp sugar, and salt. Cream the mixture with the butter. Add a little water and knead the dough. Refrigerate the dough for 1-2 hours. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
Mix the finely chopped pears and apples. Add a few tablespoons of sugar. Add the spices, lemon zest, and juice.
Pour 2/3 of the dough into a baking pan. Spread the fruit filling over the dough. Top with the remaining dough (making sure to only partially cover the filling). Bake the pie for 55-60 minutes.
