Ingredients
1000 g pears
50 g butter
50 g sugar
100 g honey
3 eggs
200 ml milk
120 g flour
pinch of salt
Wash the pears, peel, and core them. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Melt the butter in a frying pan. Then add the sugar and stir until it dissolves. Pour in the honey. Caramelize the pears in the mixture for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Make the dough: pour warm milk into a deep bowl, add flour, eggs, salt, and a spoonful of sugar, and beat well (preferably with a whisk).
Place the pears in a baking dish and pour the dough over them. Bake in the oven for 15-25 minutes (check with a toothpick). Remove the finished charlotte from the oven and serve it straight in the pan. Delicious with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
