Emptiness… The same Emptiness visits her every day. Without knocking, without a "hello," it occupies every single part of her brain, even the smallest part, and despite all her efforts, it refuses to leave. A companion...? Yes, now it's her main companion. It participates in every minute of the day and night, following her like a shadow. Step by step... Hand in hand... It doesn't matter that her eyes have no color. It doesn't matter that her heart is devoid of all feeling. It doesn't matter that everyone fears and runs away from her... And yet she has power. She is eternal and omnipresent. She knows everyone, and everyone knows her. Some even like... Some people enjoy tea with this Great Lady, also known as Solitude. But not her. She loves all the emotions that the Void is devoid of. She loves being happy, she loves being sad, she loves being in love, and she wants to both give and take her feelings by the handful. The problem, however, is that Solitude won't let her...
Sighing heavily, she sat down on the blue chair next to her desk and, with a bored look, surveyed all the nearby objects. A few scattered CDs, perfume, a pen, a notebook… and a phone. A phone where a message from him should be waiting. A proposal to meet up, some sweet confession, or even a simple assurance that he misses her… But no. She knows it would be foolish to count on such a thing. Because in her case, she lacks that essential element – a boy she could love sincerely and who would love her just as sincerely…
With boredom, she glanced at the window, outside which a terrible gale raged. Shivers ran through her body at the mere thought of leaving her warm apartment. And she's been sitting like this alone for a very long time. And she's sitting like this, face to face with a woman called Emptiness… And her main activity is superficial conversations on the famous instant messenger, whose name she knows well… whose logo she sees every day right after waking up and just before going to bed. What better thing does she have to do…?
She wants to write… Because she writes quite well. But the loneliness filling every cell of her body prevents her from thinking. Even though she has a pen in her hand, even though there's a blank page in front of her, she can't scribble anything meaningful. Eventually, however, the blue ink slowly filled the paper… but can the poem she once heard somewhere be called her own work? Alas… But she pays no attention to it. She wants to rid herself of the loneliness that has haunted her every step for a long time.
"Someone knocked on the window,
it's only the wind...
And I'm alone again.
Someone moved the door,
it's only fear...
And I'm alone again .
The sudden movement of the hand,
it's only time...
And I'm still alone."
She smiled faintly, observing her perfect handwriting without emotion. But what did all her talents matter at that moment? Her only dream was to get rid of the Void. The Void that oppressed and depressed her… She whispered quietly in her ear all the things she wanted to escape from. She remembered what she wanted to forget. Because if He were here, He would be sitting here now and with a single smile, banishing Loneliness to the other side of the world. But He's gone… And nothing indicates that the door in her heart will finally open for someone. Maybe she's too picky… Maybe she's waiting for Prince Charming… Maybe she's unknowingly invited the Void and, through her own stupidity, she can't get rid of it now…
All she wants is to live her life to the fullest again. All she wants is to see all the colors of the rainbow again. She wants to wake up with joyful butterflies in her stomach and fall asleep with a smile on her lips. She wants to cry again… To cry with sadness, to cry with happiness. To say goodbye to the Void, to say goodbye to Loneliness…
