Ingredients
Minced meat 400 g
Eggs 2
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Garlic 3 cloves
Cilantro 1 bunch
Red chili pepper 2
Toast bread 8 slices
Vegetable oil 500 ml
Ginger 1 cm
Water 2 tbsp
Peel and chop the garlic. Finely chop the cilantro and chili, setting aside some for garnish. Peel and finely chop the ginger. Mix the resulting paste with the minced meat.
Add 1 lightly beaten egg, soy sauce, and 2 tbsp warm water, mix well.
Trim the bread crusts and cut each slice into quarters. Toast the finished pieces in a preheated oven at 170°C for 5 minutes. Place 1 teaspoon of the mixture on each slice of bread. Press a cilantro leaf and a thin slice of chili into the mixture.
Brush each sandwich with a beaten egg.
Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan or wok to approximately 150˚ C. Fry the sandwiches until golden brown. Place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Serve the finished sandwiches hot.
