Ingredients
1 herring
200 g butter
1 lemon
1 bread

Cut the herring into small pieces, matching the bread slices. First, cut the bread into squares and then fry it in a dry frying pan.
Now, prepare the butter, which will be used for the filling. To do this, simply chop any herbs you have with a sharp knife. Remove the butter from the freezer ahead of time and let it melt slightly on the counter. Then add the herbs, season with salt, and add a little garlic to taste. Mix everything with a fork. The filling is ready.
Serve the dish. Spread the bread slices with the herb butter and then top each with a piece of herring. Next, slice the lemon into thin slices and then cut it into quarters.
One lemon quarter is enough for one slice of bread. Lay out the lemon slices and serve. This delicious and original appetizer can be made with any seafood you have on hand. Just boil or fry it first.
You can also use any soft cheese with a delicate, creamy flavor, rather than just butter.
