Herring Soup



Ingredients
Herring 2
Potatoes 3
Carrots 1
Onion 1
Flour 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Water 1000 ml
Milk 500 ml
Ground black pepper
Herrings
Sour cream

Scale and wash the herring. Pour milk over the prepared herring and let it soak. Place the soaked herring in boiling water, add peeled and finely chopped carrots, onions, and diced potatoes.

When the herring is soft, remove it, separate the flesh from the bones, and add the flour sautéed with butter to the soup. Add milk, simmer briefly, sprinkle with chopped herbs, and add the boiled herring. Season with sour cream.
