Ingredients
1 cup semolina
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
For the cream:
300 g berries
100 g sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
Whisk the eggs with a mixer until foamy. Add the sugar, flour, and semolina. Dissolve the baking soda in the sour cream and add it to the batter. Mix thoroughly. Grease a baking pan with vegetable oil and sprinkle with semolina. Pour in the batter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until done. Mine took about 40-45 minutes. Remove the baked cake from the pan, cool, and cut into three pieces.
Prepare the cream: puree the berries in a blender, add sour cream and sugar to taste, and mix everything together. Soak the cake layers with the resulting berry cream. Refrigerate the manna cake for 2 hours to soak and set.
