Waffle Rolls


Ingredients
Butter 150 g
Sugar 150 g
Eggs 4
Starch 50 g
Flour 150 g
Water 1/2 cup

Whisk the softened butter with the sugar. Then, continuing to whisk, add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing in the starch, flour, and water. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter, stirring gently. The batter will be thin (like kefir). Bake the waffle rolls immediately.

Preheat the waffle iron well, open it, and pour 1 tablespoon of batter into the center of the bottom half (if you want a thicker version, use your best guess). Close the waffle iron, press lightly, and bake for about 2 minutes. Determine the baking time based on the color of the waffles (they should be light brown, golden).

Carefully remove the finished waffles from the waffle iron (with a spatula or knife) and, while still hot, immediately roll them into tubes (carefully but very quickly). Carefully transfer the hardened tubes to a serving dish. Once the waffle tubes have cooled completely, you can fill them with any cream.
