Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe 🍪
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking
sheets with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and
salt; set aside.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter,
granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until
light and fluffy.
4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each
addition.
5. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared
baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
8. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Allow
cookies to cool on the sheets for 2 minutes before
transferring to a wire rack.
