Tuscan Dream Grilled Cheese Recipe 🧀
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of Italian bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1
tablespoon of olive oil.
2. Lay out the bread slices and evenly distribute the
mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil on two
of the slices. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Top with the remaining bread slices to form two
sandwiches.
4. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4
minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and
the cheese is melted, adding the remaining olive oil as
needed.
5. Remove from heat, let cool for a minute, then slice and
serve immediately.
