It was once...
A few years ago, I personally experienced the process of knowledge filtering in connection with the aforementioned California gold mine finds. I was a scientific advisor for NBC's The Myterious Origins of Man, which I also appeared on. Much of the material from my book Forbidden Archaeology was presented on the program. During the production of the program, I advised the producers that they should visit the Natural History Museum at the University of California, Berkeley, where artifacts from the California gold mines are kept. However, the museum's management refused to allow the artifacts to be filmed. I consider this a clear case of suppressing evidence that could be used to challenge Darwinian concepts of human evolution. When the program finally aired, leading Darwinists attempted to prevent NBC from airing it again, but they were unsuccessful. So they tried to pressure the Federal Communications Commission, the broadcasting regulator, to penalize NBC for airing the program despite the Darwinists' objections.
