Ingredients
200 g dark chocolate
100 g milk chocolate
100 ml 10% cream
3 tbsp chocolate drops
5 eggs
6 tbsp butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup dark beer
1 tbsp cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F). Line a springform pan with parchment paper and grease the entire pan with butter. Melt the butter and dark chocolate in a double boiler (or simply in a saucepan with a couple of tablespoons of water over very low heat, stirring constantly).
Whisk the eggs with sugar until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the slightly cooled chocolate mixture to the eggs. Mix the flour, cocoa, and a pinch of salt thoroughly, then sift the resulting powder into the egg-chocolate mixture.
Mix everything with a mixer on low speed, pour in a glass of Guinness (about 300 ml), and mix again. Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake in a preheated oven for about 25 minutes.
You can top the finished brownies with chocolate if desired. Simply melt a bar of milk chocolate with cream over low heat and pour it over the cooled brownies. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
