Kulesh



Ingredients
Meat 500 g
Smoked meat 1500 g
Lard 500 g
Onions 3
Carrots 2
Tomatoes 2
Bell pepper 1
Millet 1.5 cups
Potatoes 6
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Spices to taste
Herbs to taste

Take a cauldron or saucepan. Dice the lard and fry. Chop the onion and add it to the melted lard. Dice the carrots and add them after the onions. Do the same with the tomatoes and peppers.

When all the ingredients are well fried and stewed, add water, add the meat, and cook for 30 minutes. Dice the potatoes and add them to the water. Cook for 20 minutes. Add the ribs, cutting them into pieces. Add the millet (rinse thoroughly beforehand) and season with salt and pepper. Wait until the millet is cooked. Finely chop the herbs. Serve the kulesh on a plate and sprinkle with herbs to taste.
