My little lamb.

I've decided to finally tell everyone the whole truth. Maybe you won't take me seriously, maybe you'll laugh. Oh well, I'll get through it somehow. After all, I'm only thirteen, and kids that age aren't taken completely seriously yet. My secret is that... my best friend is a little sheep, only 5 cm tall. But that's not all. The strangest thing is that this sheep is alive and can even speak our language. You might find this strange, you might laugh at me. But if you're even the slightest bit curious about how I found it, just read on... One warm spring day, I was on a field trip with my whole class. As usual, I was trailing behind. Suddenly, I noticed a small sheep beneath me. At first, I was a little apprehensive, and then my fear was replaced by curiosity. "Where did it come from?" I wondered. My teacher's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, telling me to hurry up. I carefully placed the sheep in my pocket so no one would see I'd found something and headed back to the classroom. The teacher gave me a stern look and muttered something under her breath about "completely reckless children." I wasn't too concerned. After all, she was one of the "gentlest" teachers at my school.
When I got home, I immediately locked myself in my room and put the sheep on my bed. I noticed its eyes were closed, so I thought it was sleeping. On the one hand, I was a little afraid of this strange creature, but on the other, I was fascinated by it. Lost in thought, I didn't even notice when the sheep woke up. I heard its soft, high-pitched voice asking, "Where am I?" I told her who I was and how I'd found it. She looked at me a little warily, then smiled. After a short while, I bombarded it with questions. The sheep began to tell me about its life. I learned that these kinds of sheep lived in green meadows near a river. This surprised me a bit, but I decided not to disturb her. It turned out that the sheep's name was Martynka and she was only two years old, which in human terms was about my age.
From then on, Martynka was my best friend. We talked and fooled around a lot. I took her to school and kept her in my bag during lessons. She didn't hold it against me. We both preferred that no one knew she existed.
And we would still be so happy today if it weren't for the fact that sheep can't live apart from others. I had to part with Martynka. I didn't want to, but I had no other choice. As a farewell gift, I gave her a photo of me and a heart with the inscription "Madzia and Martynka. Friends forever." She gave me a small figurine of herself. After a rather long goodbye, I put it in my bag, got on my bike, and rode to the nearby forest. There I left my best friend. I didn't want to do it, but Martynka assured me she would be fine. When I got home, I glanced at her figurine and burst into tears. I knew the chances of seeing her were slim. I was very sad about that.
If any of you still don't believe in Martynka's existence, all you have to do is come to me. I still have her figurine and I can show it to you. Maybe then you'll believe in her existence.
If you ever happen to meet such a little sheep, ask her if she knows a Martynka. If so, give her my regards and tell her I miss her very much.
