Ingredients
4 Apples
50 g Dried Apricots
50 g Dates
1 tbsp White Breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Honey
2 tsp Apricot Jam
20 g Butter
Nutmeg to taste
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease an ovenproof dish. Remove the insides from the apples and, using a sharp knife, make a small cut around the circumference of the apple to prevent cracking during baking.
Mix chopped dried apricots, chopped dates, breadcrumbs, cinnamon, warm honey, and apricot jam. Divide the mixture among 4 apples and press them down with your fingers. Place a knob of butter on top of each apple and transfer to the dish.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the apples are tender, test with a skewer. Serve hot, drizzled with ice cream and chocolate syrup.
